StripeBot is the first machine in the Manico fleet: a fully autonomous line-marking robot, designed to lay crisp, precise, durable markings day or night, in lots and on streets, with no crew standing in traffic to do it.
The stakes are painted on every road you've ever driven. Lane lines, crosswalks, stop bars, arrows: the quiet language that tells millions of drivers where to go and where not to. Across every city that language is fading faster than crews can repaint it, and every faded line leaves the road a little more dangerous than it was.

Fresh markings change ordinary moments. A driver holds their lane through a rainy curve; a crosswalk catches the eye a half-second sooner. And as self-driving cars arrive, reading the road through its paint, the same lines become their language too. StripeBot keeps it legible, for human eyes and machine ones alike.

Debris does real damage. A branch in the bike lane forces a cyclist into traffic. Broken glass waits for a tire. Leaves and litter wash into storm drains until the next rain has nowhere to go, and a street floods. The mess on our roads is a safety problem and an environmental one, and today it's handled by a handful of sweeper trucks that pass any given street a few times a year, if that.
SweepBot is built to keep the whole city clean: an autonomous sweeper that works every night, clearing roads, bike lanes, and gutters before the hazards ever get the chance to form. It is planned as the fleet's second flagship, the machine that will prove, together with StripeBot, that two robots can hand work to each other in the open world.

A clear road is a cyclist who stays in the bike lane, a pedestrian on an unobstructed crosswalk, a driver who never hits the debris that wasn't there this morning. A clear gutter means rain that drains the way it should, keeping trash and pollutants out of the rivers downstream. And for every autonomous machine on the road, a clean, predictable surface is one less thing standing between it and a safe trip.

Every pothole begins as a crack. Water seeps in, freezes, expands, and tears the road apart from the inside, a hairline fracture becoming a crater over a single winter. The fix is simple and cheap if you catch it early: seal the crack before the water gets in. But cracks are small, easy to miss, and spread across every mile of road in a city, so they're almost always ignored until they've already become the expensive, dangerous problem they were destined to be.
SealBot is built to catch them first. An autonomous machine that finds and seals cracks while they're still cracks, turning the cheapest possible repair into something that happens automatically, everywhere, before the damage can start.

The way we fix potholes is almost comically slow: someone hits one, someone reports it, a crew gets scheduled, a truck gets sent, and weeks pass while the hole grows and the danger grows with it. Everyone knows what's at stake in the meantime: the jolt, the bang, the blown tire on the highway, the cyclist thrown from their line, the driver who swerves into the next lane and into something worse. Potholes cause billions in vehicle damage and thousands of accidents every year.

VegBot's job will be staying ahead of it: an autonomous trimmer keeping roadsides, sightlines, and power corridors clear, cutting back the overgrowth before it hides a sign, blocks a signal, or takes down a line.
