It started with a simple question.
If we can teach a car to drive itself, why is the paint it depends on still laid down by hand?
The people building autonomous vehicles have spent a decade and billions of dollars teaching machines to read the road. But the road itself (the lines, the surface, the markings every one of those machines depends on) is still maintained the way it was fifty years ago: manually, reactively, by crews sent out after something's already gone wrong.
That's the gap. The most advanced machines humanity has ever built are driving on infrastructure maintained by some of the least advanced methods we still use. And the closer the autonomous world gets, the more that gap matters: smarter cars are only half of the answer.
So we decided to build the other half.
Not another autonomous vehicle. The intelligence that maintains the world those vehicles will move through, and that keeps it safer, cleaner, and more livable for the people already here.
For as long as anyone can remember, keeping the physical world intact has meant reacting: waiting for the crack, the pothole, the outage, then scrambling to fix it after the damage is done. That era is ending. The future is infrastructure that looks after itself, catching its own wear early and repairing the world before it ever breaks. Everywhere, always, without anyone having to ask.
We build it honest, and we build it real.
Ambition without honesty is just a pitch. So everything we claim, we can stand behind: what's built is built, what's coming is called what it is. We're early, and we say so, because the systems that will one day keep entire cities safe have to earn trust from the very first line of code.
This is the beginning of something inevitable.
The autonomous world is coming whether or not the ground beneath it is ready. We're here to make sure it is: building the intelligence that will carry the physical world into its next era, and keep it safe, clean, and whole for everyone living in it.
